Authentic works, also known as "Zheng", are often called "regular script".
Beginners often learn from Liu Gongquan in regular script. Because Liu's body is rigorous, standardized and neat. It's called Liugu. Ou Yangxun's handwriting is slightly lanky. Zhao Mengfu's (Fu's) is more natural and unrestrained. After 8090, I often don't like Yan Zhenqing very much, because the straight and simple face is really "horizontal and vertical, horizontal and thin and vertical and thick", which seems a bit clumsy. Signs and plaques of buyers and sellers are often used and conspicuous. The most important thing is that people admire and praise the unyielding character of General Yan Zhenqing. At present, many parents induce their children to learn "Yan Ti" from an early age. Now, the computer has a common "comfort". Mr. Shu Tong and Chairman Mao are called "calligraphers" in Yan 'an. Shu style is developed on the basis of Yan style. Newspaper screens are not uncommon.
Between regular script and cursive script, there is also a commonly used "running script". In running script, people often regard the Preface to Lanting written by Wang Xizhi, a right general in Jin Dynasty, as a model. Call it a "book saint"
Cursive script, Chairman Mao's Crazy Grass originated from Mi Fei (Min Nangong) in the Tang Dynasty, a good friend of Su Dongpo in the Song Dynasty, and a monk.
There are many kinds of official scripts. What people particularly appreciate is Han Li. Simple and generous, easy to identify. It is the national language of the first Qin Emperor Li Siding. The media is also widely used.
Seal script is divided into big seal script and small seal script. Xiao Zhuan, the official script of the Qin Dynasty, was difficult to write and recognize (it was later reformed into official script on this basis). Big seal script is more difficult to identify. In order to write or seal, there were "square seal" and "round seal" in ancient times. Fang zhuan, you can see the words "Governor's Seal" on the back of our RMB. Seal script originated from bronze inscriptions (words carved on iron or bronze or pottery) and earlier Oracle Bone Inscriptions (memos carved on tortoise shells or bone plates, such as tortoise shells). Mr. Guo Moruo is the originator of Oracle Bone Inscriptions academic circles.
That's all. I wonder if it is to your taste.
