On August 1 day, 2008, He Jianhua's Olympic Calligraphy Exhibition was successfully held in Guigang. Guigang Newspaper, Guigang TV Station and Xizhi Book Pictorial all reported the exhibition. He won the gold medal in the youth group of the 3rd New Century Cup National Calligraphy and Painting Competition, the 4th Ou Yangxun Prize National Calligraphy and Painting Competition and the Huangshan Cup National Calligraphy and Painting Competition.
