Is Li Zhi's long scroll calligraphy worth collecting?
Li Zhi's long books are of great collection value. Li Zhichang, male, 1953, from Jinan, Shandong. He is currently the director of China Calligraphers Association (International), the member of China Art Appraisal Committee, and the vice chairman of China Calligraphy and Painting Society. Li Zhichang's calligraphy works are excellent in brushwork, dense and orderly in fonts and bones, vigorous and powerful between lines, and free and unrestrained in writing, which has high artistic value. His works are collected by the Great Hall of the People, Ziguangge, Palace Museum, China National Museum and Li Zhichang. His paintings and calligraphy works have participated in many exhibitions at home and abroad and won awards. In February, 2007, Lu Xun won the gold medal for calligraphy in the exhibition "Ru Zi Niu". In March of the same year, he was awarded "Sinologist" by China Sinology Research Association, and in June+February, 5438, he was elected as "One Hundred Outstanding Painters in China".
