One-year calligraphy character

Mainly because the basic skills of brushwork are not enough.

First, the copybook should be replaced with an ancient paste with a brush.

In ancient times, the paste method was rigorous, the pen was extremely elegant, and the application of the nib was more exquisite. Such as "Duobaota Monument", "Preface to Lanting", "Cold Food Post" and so on.

Second, the brushwork

1, "three straights": straight head, straight body and straight hands.

Lay the paper flat on the desktop, with elbows bent at about 45 degrees, feet spread naturally, and the chest is about 15 cm away from the desktop. Whether writing horizontally or vertically, it is not necessary to keep the position where the pen tip touches the paper basically perpendicular to the line of sight.

2. Trilogy of "Starting, Going and Receiving".

The speed of writing will also affect the effect of words.

Using the pen quickly without floating can make the strokes more rigid-the writing of strokes such as skimming, pressing and hanging the needle, and using the pen slowly and steadily at the front end can make the stippling solid and powerful.

The beginning, closing or folding of stippling should be relatively slow, otherwise it will be lifeless if it slides over.

The same font, the speed of using the pen has different changes.

Different fonts have different pen speeds.

Regular script is slow and steady.

Running script is faster and lighter.

Step 3 write with a pen

"Finger-wrist combination": wrist force, sketch needs to swing up and down from left to right, and the range depends on the size of the handwriting. The bigger the word, the bigger the swing and the smaller the word. The movement of the wrist drives the movement of the finger, and the finger drives the pen in the hand.

"Pick up the pen": It means that the pen is gradually lifted from the paper, and the handwriting will change from coarse to fine, from fine to nothing.

"Pen pressing": gradually press the pen on the paper, thus making the handwriting from fine to thick.

Generally speaking, lifting and pressing are often completed in the same stroke. For example, oblique strokes are written by pressing first and then lifting, so as to achieve the stroke effect of thick upper right and thin lower left.

"Pen": pause on the basis of pressing the pen to make a certain part of stippling round and powerful. Dunbi is widely used in hard pen calligraphy, which is often reflected in the starting, closing or color selection of stippling.

"Writing": A quick and powerful way to change the direction of a pen, often used with a pen. For example, when sketching, pause first and then fall, and the direction of the pen tip turns from front to back, so you can get the effect of gaining momentum.

"turning point": the circle turns to change the direction of the pen (turning the pen), and the square turns to change the direction of the pen (folding the pen).

Third, be careful with ballpoint pens.

Fourth, you might as well put it down and practice regular script with a brush for half a year. The strokes of the same clan are more profound but the basic skills of brushwork are more solid.
