The Spring Festival is getting closer and closer to us, and the flavor of the year is getting stronger and stronger. At this time, it is an essential task to buy new year's goods, one of which is to buy Spring Festival couplets. However, I heard that there is a robot in Shunshi Community of Shungeng Street in downtown area that can write Spring Festival couplets by itself. Isn't it a little awesome? I didn't expect technology to develop so happily. Let's see what's extraordinary about this robot.
On February 6th, Shunshi Community of Shungeng Street in Shizhong District welcomed an "intelligent robot" calligrapher. This special calligrapher carefully wrote couplets with a brush, and wrote beautiful calligraphy to send New Year greetings to community residents.
This robot doesn't look like a person, but like an excavator, because it has a long arm and a pen in it. There is a long red paper on the desk. At the command, the robot began to write. It is clearly defined, and it writes circles and hooks smoothly. It can also write one word at a time. Every time the mechanical arm writes two words, it will go back to dip in ink. After dipping in ink, scrape the ink three times. The whole process is not urgent or impetuous. The pen is smooth and elegant, firm and sincere.
In less than five minutes, the robot wrote a couplet, "Good luck every year, all the best, five blessings".
How does this robot distinguish between writing and receiving? The staff of Shunshi Community said: "The principle of putting pen to paper is the difference of strength. We control the weight of writing by the height of the mechanical arm from the paper. " The staff of the robot club told the reporter that letting the robot write is actually a way to show the trajectory of its arm. "It can write any word, as long as it is programmed in advance and given a try."
According to the robot club staff, writing Spring Festival couplets is a traditional custom in China during the Spring Festival. As a robot club, I hope to bring a different Spring Festival to residents through artificial intelligence, so I held an activity of robot writing Spring Festival couplets.
In this activity, Shunshi Community also invited experts from city and district calligraphy associations and community calligraphy lovers to send New Year greetings to community residents.
