Brief Introduction of China's Hard Pen Calligraphy Masters' Works
At the beginning of the 20th century, the pen, an exotic product, entered China and gradually replaced the brush as the main tool for people's daily writing. That is, since then, the art of creating calligraphy with various hard pens has gradually been welcomed by people. Especially in the 1980s, the holding of various hard-pen calligraphy competitions strongly stimulated people's enthusiasm for participating in the artistic creation of hard-pen calligraphy, and a nearly mass hard-pen calligraphy activity was rapidly launched throughout the country. In this activity, a large number of famous hard-pen calligraphers such as Pang Zhonghua, Xie,,,,, and Zhang Xiu emerged. With indelible guidance or high-level creative achievements, they have played an important role in promoting the popularization of hard-pen calligraphy in China. In order to show their artistic achievements in hard-pen calligraphy, and at the same time provide hard-pen calligraphy lovers with a model of copying and appreciation, we invite some famous hard-pen calligraphers to re-create their hard-pen calligraphy works with their good calligraphy style, and publish them in the form of Collection of Works of China Hard-pen Calligraphy Masters, hoping to win the favor of readers.
