Calligraphers write calligraphy on the playground.
When I was in grade five or six, my father, who loved calligraphy, began to teach me to learn calligraphy. I have to write for an hour or two every day when I come home from kindergarten, but the progress is not obvious. Soon, my father realized that he had done something wrong and helped me find a calligraphy teacher. Since then, I have studied calligraphy with this teacher. On the first day of learning calligraphy, the teacher taught us to hold the pen and write like this. A little basic, often writing the best, always praised by teachers. With the progress day by day, the teacher is more and more strict with me, asking me to write faster and more imposing. In the third grade of primary school, the school held a live calligraphy competition, which was my first time to participate in the competition. I practiced seriously before the competition and made full preparations for this competition. On the day of the competition, we wrote calligraphy on the playground together, surrounded by my classmate Zhu. He studied for a long time and wrote much better than me, but it didn't affect my play. I wrote down every word carefully. The game is over. To my surprise, I won the first prize, which greatly increased my confidence in practicing calligraphy, but I was not proud and practiced harder. Since then, I have participated in many competitions and won many awards, including municipal, provincial and even national. Whenever I get a certificate, I am very excited, because I have paid a lot behind it: the teacher is very demanding of me, always criticizes my poor writing, and is more demanding every time. Every stroke and painting I write is very particular, and I never write well. With the increase of this grade, my time is getting shorter and shorter, and it is getting harder and harder to learn calligraphy, but I didn't give up and continued to learn calligraphy. I study calligraphy hard, and calligraphy has become an indispensable part of my soul.
