Every year in late July, it is the Hakka Water-splashing Festival. Young and middle-aged male dragon dancers wear headscarves, bare upper body and dragon-shaped tattoos, shorts and sandals. Female dragon dancers wear garlands, shorts and Chinese corsets. When the master of ceremonies gave the order to "dance colorful dragons", the dragon dancers pranced up and down, left and right, and people around them splashed water on the dragon dancers with water containers such as water basins and water guns.
