Zhang, male, born in Neixiang, Nanyang, Henan, 1942, retired teacher. He loved calligraphy since childhood, and insisted on learning Wei and calligraphy after work. After retirement, he took calligraphy as his main hobby and held a training class for children's calligraphy. His teaching and calligraphy have improved. In 2006, his works won the silver prize of "New Year Exhibition of Retired Cadres' Painting and Calligraphy" and were compiled. In 2007, his works won the gold medals of "Beijing Invitational Exhibition of Group Paintings and Calligraphy Works of 50-year-old, 60-year-old and 70-year-old in Golden Age" and "Beijing Invitational Exhibition of Paintings and Calligraphy Works of National Veteran Cadres in Burning Years", and were included in "Golden Age-Contemporary Paintings and Calligraphy Works of the Elderly".
