Qian Xuesen's Calligraphy

On February 22nd, 65438, some teachers and students of Tangshan No.1 Middle School participated in the "Poetry Calligraphy Exhibition with Zhang Biao as the Academician of the Two Academies" held by Zhang Biao, a famous calligrapher and alumnus of our school at his hometown of Tangshan, Hebei. At the end of the year and the beginning of the year, Zhang Biao alumni presented 100 masterpieces of poetry and calligraphy to 100 academicians of China Academy of Sciences.

Tong Wei, consultant of China Book Association, called it a unique exhibition before, and even called it "unprecedented".

At the opening ceremony, Zhang Biao said with deep affection that for a long time, I had a wish buried in my heart. Now, this wish has finally come true. The wish at that time was very simple, that is, to write about academicians of the two academies. So I spent eight years writing more than 100 poems for academicians of the two academies. From 20051February to March this year, I spent more than a year writing more than 700 calligraphy works and 100 poems. On display today are 100 works selected from them.

At the scene, we can see that hundreds of academicians of the two academies, such as Qian Xuesen, Yuan Longping, Shen Hong and Song Jian, are vividly presented in Zhang Biao's calligraphy works with their extraordinary achievements, noble character and strong artistic expression and appeal.

Zhang Biao is currently the fifth consultant of China Calligraphers Association and a famous contemporary calligrapher in China. In 2005, two of his works traveled in space on the Shenzhou VI manned spacecraft.

After the visit, teachers and students were deeply attracted by the noble personality charm of alumni. Alumni's strong sense of social responsibility and love for their hometown alma mater shocked the hearts of every teacher, student and audience present. Students have said: we must follow the example of alumni, be ambitious and be grateful; Today I am proud of my alma mater, and tomorrow my alma mater will be proud of me.
