Yuan's life experience

Born in Yuan Kewen, he is the second son of Yuan Shikai. His biological mother Kim is Korean. Yuan Shikai was a business representative in North Korea in the late Qing Dynasty, where he married the Kim family of noble birth. The two girls who accompanied Jin were later accepted as concubines by Yuan Shikai. Shortly after Yuan Kewen was born, he was adopted by Shen Shi, Yuan Shikai's favorite sister. Shen Shi was childless and doted on Yuan, almost to the point of obedience, so Yuan was stubborn and dissolute, and never studied hard. However, he is very smart, reads quickly, never forgets anything, likes singing Kunqu opera, playing with ancient money, and likes to make friends with literati, saying that he is "interested in learning."

In childhood, Yuan Kewen's mother was Kim, the third aunt of North Korean Yuan Shikai. Kevin was adopted by his aunt since she was a child. My aunt loves this son very much, and he will satisfy whatever he wants.

Yuan has been clever since childhood, and it is said that he has the ability to "never forget anything", so although he doesn't study hard and write poems and articles like Xue Pan, he is good at everything and his words are romantic and chic. Therefore, Yuan Shikai had some preference for him, and even once wanted to make him a "prince". My sister's arrogance and Yuan Shikai's preference created Yuan's extravagant, willful and extravagant character, and he did everything to eat, drink, gamble and smoke (opium). He also spent money to join the "green gang" and became an "old man" of the "big generation". In addition to Yuan Pei's wife Liu Meizhen, he also married five concubines: Aiyun House, Xiao Taohong, Tang Zhijun, Yu Peiwen and Yaxian. There are even more mistresses who have no birthright or "spring breeze" According to insiders, there are seventy or eighty.

Yuan, a young man, is good at calligraphy, writing poems, words and articles, and also likes to sing Kunqu opera. He plays a very good role in life and ugliness. Representative works include "The Palace of Eternal Life" and "Dreams in the Garden". After Yuan Shikai's death, he lost control and began to "play with tickets", that is, to be a ticket friend. One year, he and Chen Delin collaborated on A Dream in the Garden at Xinmin Theatre. His eldest brother Yuan (Yuan Shikai became a "parent" after his death) knew that his behavior as a "player" was "insulting family style", so he informed Xue Songping, the police chief in Beijing, and asked Xue to arrest him. Xue couldn't find an excuse, but he thought it was an "internal contradiction" of their Yuan family, so he went to talk to Yuan about "your brother's meaning". Yuan smiled and said, "There will be another performance tomorrow. I won't sing after singing! " Ticket lovers should borrow Taiwan to sing at their own expense. It is said that it took Yuan three or four thousand silver dollars to finish the two plays.

Because Yuan spent money like water, the hundreds of thousands of silver dollars he inherited from his father were quickly used up, but he couldn't put down his airs and had to make a living by selling words and articles. It is said that his handwriting is very good. After three glasses of wine, I feel comfortable and full of pride, which is very Su Dongpo's style. Zhang Zongchang, the "general of dog meat" in Shandong, asked him to write a picture of nave at a price of 1000 yuan. Some people say that so many people ask him to write because his handwriting is really good; But some people say this is because he is Yuan Di's son.

Death 193 1 Yuan Kewen died in Tianjin at the age of 42. There was no money at home for his funeral, or he helped his disciples and grandchildren collect money to help him. At the funeral, people from the gang, as well as monks, Taoist priests, nuns and lamas from Tianjin came to attend the funeral.

Yuan collects everyone.

Love books and antiques, good at appreciation, good at books and paintings, and rich in collection. Buy widely with huge sums of money

Ancient books, epigraphy, calligraphy and painting, coins, stamps, etc. I have lived in Shanghai for many years and am good at studying epigraphy and ancient coins. He is good at calligraphy and poetry. In order to buy ancient books, I used to learn from Fang erqian and Li Shengduo. After half a year, I learned a lot about editions and began to devote myself to the collection of ancient books. In recent years, I have obtained hundreds of masterpieces from masters such as Lu, Xu Fang, Wu Changshou, Yang Shoujing and Deng Bangshu. He heard that Huang Pilie collected the Song edition of Hundred Books, so he built a bookstore called Baihou. For example, Yu Ji, a Song edition, was collected by Huang Pilie, and there were many records afterwards. Later, he appreciated Lu Xinyuan's Song House very much, so he changed it to Song Collection. There are 200 kinds of books in Song Dynasty, which is superior to Huang Pilie. He also collected eight classic works such as Zhouyi, Shangshu, Shi Mao, Book of Rites, Zhou Li, Filial Piety, Analects of Confucius and Mencius. Calligraphy and painting are as fine as hair and exquisite.

Yuan is unrestrained by nature. When he sees Song Heyuan's prints, he will try to buy them. Most books are collected in the imperial palace of the Qing Dynasty, and there are 29 kinds of books with the highest value, 1 16 volumes. He especially loved eight kinds of towel boxes in Song Dynasty, such as Zhouyi, Shangshu, Analects of Confucius and Mencius, and set up the Eight Classrooms for storage. 13 The giant portrait frame painted by people in Yuan Dynasty is a rare treasure. Therefore, the "Eight Classics Hall" library was specially opened for collection, and Tao was entrusted to publish it on 1926. I bought dozens of fine works collected by my family, such as 70 volumes of Justice in the Book of Rites, which are called "the best book in China" by historians, and each volume has a well-documented Tibetan-Indian and Northern Song dialect. In addition, there are dozens of Yuan periodicals, Ming engravings and exquisite manuscripts, such as Song Xie's Distinguishing the Quiet Voices, Collected Works of Yuhu Jushi, Lao Zi's Taoist Classic Notes, Wonderful Selected Poems, Yuan Gui of Bookstore, Notes of Shu Xian, Su Shi and Zhou Wenxuan, etc. He studied editions with famous artists such as Xu Senyu, Fu Zengxiang and Zhou Shutao at that time, and had contacts with Fu Zengxiang, Xu Senyu and Zhou Shutao to study editions and cultural relics.
