"But it's not enough. We are better exploring the imperial kiln culture and truly printing this historical and cultural heritage in every corner of the campus, making it a campus culture. " President Zhu said in an interview with reporters. Lao Zhu happily took the reporter to the second floor of the comprehensive building, which is like a Wu culture learning base, and a huge classroom was armed into a "BRIC writing room". On sixty antique desks, a "golden brick writing board" developed and produced by Imperial Kiln people is neatly placed for students to practice calligraphy.
President Zhu introduced that students in grades 3 to 6 have a calligraphy class here every week, and students practice calligraphy on the BRICS. Every Tuesday and Thursday, we will also hold calligraphy interest activities here, so that students who like calligraphy can learn from each other and exchange ideas. The school regularly invites calligraphers to guide the maze, and a group of small calligraphers stand out. Now there are more and more students who write well in China. At the same time, the school organizes teachers to practice hard-pen calligraphy. Every day, teachers are required to take out a hard-pen calligraphy board for centralized display, select outstanding works, and promote the solid development of calligraphy practice. Many students have achieved good results in regional and even national Chinese character writing competitions. Sun Mingguang, a fifth-grade student, won the honor of the seventh grade in calligraphy.
Since the establishment of Imperial Kiln Primary School in 2008, the school leaders have made a big fuss about the imperial kiln brick, one of the "Ten Wonders of a City", and organized students to visit the local imperial kiln brick-making technology and the ruins of the old kiln and accept the influence of this traditional culture. On this basis, the school has also established the Imperial Kiln Culture Exhibition Room, and is preparing to build the BRICS Studio, so that every student can further understand the history of this regional culture and better inherit it.
