Lin Bozhong's works are deeply loved by foreign heads of state and friends, and many of his works have been collected by foreign heads of state and friends, making outstanding contributions to artistic exchanges between China and foreign countries.

Lin Bozhong was born in1907165438+10.2, and entered a private school at the age of 6. He studied under Wang Xuexi in the Qing Dynasty for nine years. 15 years old went to Linyi Shandong Provincial No.5 Middle School to study. After graduation, I went to Qingdao, Nanjing, Shanghai, Beijing and other places to do business and bought industries in these places. After liberation, he mainly worked and lived between Beijing and Nanjing until his death in April 1987.

When Lin Bozhong was young, he was deeply influenced by Xiang Xian, a scholar in Qing Dynasty. He likes calligraphy, especially good at it. During his stay abroad, he visited the famous mountains and rivers of the motherland and collected many famous calligraphy and paintings. 1966 after the "cultural revolution", because Lin Bozhong was born in a national bourgeois family, he was constantly subjected to political persecution and mental and physical torture, and a large number of books, calligraphy and paintings were confiscated and burned. 1984, after the implementation of the policy, only a small number of calligraphy and painting returned to his hands.

In the autumn of the same year, together with Wu Zhongqi and other famous calligraphers, he participated in the symposium of Jiangsu artists, calligraphers and inscriptions jointly organized by Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture, Jiangsu Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Jiangsu Artists Association and Calligraphy Association. Lin Bozhong represented Jiangsu in the National Calligraphy Exhibition held in Lushan and won the first prize.

In view of Lin Bozhong's important position in the national calligraphy circle, 1982, he was invited by the Nanjing Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum Management Office to be the artistic director of calligraphy in the reconstruction and expansion project of Nanjing Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, and to create Notes on the Calling of the Mausoleum. 1982, "China-Japan Calligraphy Art Exhibition" opened in Tokyo, Japan, and Lin Bozhong represented Jiangsu Province. During the Cultural Revolution, many tombs of celebrities in the Republic of China were destroyed and restored after the Cultural Revolution. Lin Bozhong was invited to write a tombstone for them. Among them, the tombstone of Tan (Chairman of the Political Committee of the Kuomintang Central Committee, Chairman of the National Government and the head of the four great calligraphers in the Republic of China) was inscribed by Lin Bozhong.
