Xiliang Mountain is composed of Daduo Mountain and Xiaotuo Mountain. The mountains and rivers are connected and the scenery is beautiful. There are stacks of strange rocks on the cliffs near the river. Poets from past dynasties, such as Li Bai, Li Chi, Wang Anshi, He Zhu, Guo Xiangzheng, Yang Wanli, Wang Guangyang, Xie Jin, Du Hao, Wang Shizheng, etc., visited here to browse and write poems. This mountain is also known as the "Eight Scenic Spots of Tianmen": the moonlight in Tianmen at night is like the "Tianmen Night Moon" in the water of the Toad Light Monument; in the morning mist of the shower, the morning light of the floating fish reflects the "bowang morning glow" of the golden silkworm; The sound of the tide below Jitou is loud, but it echoes the "Chenqiao Calling for Ferry" calling for people to cross the river; the "Wan'an Guanlan" with Buddha statues hanging on the jagged and strange rocks, bowing its head to the swirling river; the snow in the Bixia Palace is clear, and the red clothes are wrapped in plain clothes. Looking at the river view, the "Dragon Palace is smoked with snow"; the cloud pavilion flies to the cliff, and people from far and near hear the two or three "Yun Pavilion sparse bells"; the twilight autumn rain is thin, and the mist is vast and the white waves are rolling, the "Ogizhou curtain rain"; At the foot of Liangshan Mountain, there is a willow shade embankment, and the sweet oriole singing on the branches of the willow bank is the "Spring Orioles on the Willow Bank".
On the cliffs near the river in Daduo Mountain, in the third year of Yonghe in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (347), the calligrapher Wang Xizhi carved on the cliff the four characters "Zhen Yi Zuo Zu". "Xizhi's signature is still clearly identifiable." During the Tianqi Period of the Ming Dynasty The words "Tianmen" are carved on the cliffs of Xianjing in Shouchi, Hezhou Prefecture, with strong calligraphy. There are seven stone carvings written in the thirty-sixth year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1608) and the Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty. They have become precious historical materials for hydrological research. There are Nuwu Pavilion, Longwang Palace and Yuhuang Pavilion in front of the mountain. There are Puguang Temple, Shian Temple and Bushui Pavilion behind the mountain. There are Bixia Palace and other buildings at the end of the mountain. They have been destroyed by war many times and none of them survive. Yun: "Liangshan Bowang, Guan Chubin. Clamped by the torrent, it is actually Wujin. The two mountains are scattered like whales spreading their scales. Only the sea has its beauty, and only the river has its gods. The Uzogisa monster has eyes around a wheel. The light shines on the island, and the energy reaches the stars. Sweeping sand and waves, drowning horses and killing people. Cathay Pacific presents auspiciousness, and misfortunes return treasures. If it is open, Jiujiang will receive tin, if it is closed, the dust will fly from the five mountains. In a dangerous place, bandits have no relatives. "Because of its dangerous terrain, it has been a battleground for military strategists in the past dynasties. The "Battle of Wu and Chu Chang'an" in the Spring and Autumn Period took place here. The Six Dynasties established their capital in Jinling and stationed troops in Xiliang Mountain, which was called Liangshan garrison. During the Wude period of Tang Dynasty, Du Fuwei The deputy general Fu Gong used iron cables to connect and block the river and built Queyue City for more than ten miles. In the third year of Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty (1853), the Taiping Army occupied Xiliang Mountain and stationed it here. Liangshan camp was built with forts for defense.
