What is calligraphy and what kind of ugly calligraphy is it?

Calligraphy is actually various methods of writing beautiful words. For example, reading various posts, or drawing nutrients from music, literature, mountains and rivers, or imitating various animal movements, or referring to the principles of human conduct... and so on. Achieving calligraphy requires various elements, talent, cultivation, time, external atmosphere...etc. But the general purpose is to write words that make people feel comfortable, feel happy, and produce various positive emotions... But now that it is labeled as "art", it has become a high-sounding reason to scribble and vilify Chinese characters, and the Chinese Calligraphy Association has become the largest base for the production of ugly calligraphy.

When the Chinese Calligraphers Association was first established, the social atmosphere was normal and calligraphy was actually good.

Corrupt officials later entered. They have no skills. what to do?

Therefore, some flattering theorists said that the ugly words of officials were unintentionally clumsy, natural...etc.

And other people who wrote well also imitated the corrupt officials' books.

So!

The Chinese Calligraphy Association transformed into a total loser!

I encourage everyone to write as disgustingly as possible!

What is beautiful is only writing, but what is disgusting is calligraphy! Art can make people vomit! ! ! As a result, ugly calligraphy became popular and became the mainstream!

Looking at the large plaques in various ancient halls, although the brushwork is often simple and unremarkable, there is no line quality as described in modern calligraphy. But the solemn, solemn, and honest atmosphere it exudes makes people admire it from the heart! It's like facing a respected elder, which makes one's heart feel awe-inspiring yet friendly, and one's heart can be purified!

And I looked at the modern innovative, so-called clumsy, interesting and artistic calligraphy. Speaking from my conscience, how does it feel?

The ancients introspected themselves when they had nothing to do and were indifferent to their desires.

Ancient calligraphy is usually restrained and concentrated, just like the restrained virtue of jade. Because of the inner secret, it can be extremely strong and tough!

And when the emotions are moving, they will naturally exert their strength and open up, like a dragon flying and a phoenix dancing!

Modern calligraphy always wants to be publicized. But there is no basis for convergence of inner secrets. Essence often evacuates itself. If you want to show off, you can only do it by force, and you will end up with weird ears!

In short, the ancient method is like jade, the brushwork is mainly inward, and the anger naturally overflows due to emotion!

Today's painting is like a rough stone, and the brushwork is usually strong and emotional, with all the anger vented and a loose structure. If there is true emotion, it cannot be expressed. It can only lead to the rebirth of ugly monsters!

The ancient method involves both collection and release, with collection being the main method.

Today’s Dharma is completely unrestrained. I don’t know what modesty is. All art is called publicity. When the essence is exhausted, where is the beauty?
