A Brief Introduction of Zhang Daqian's Panorama of Lushan Mountain
Zhang Daqian (1899— 1983) was born in Neijiang, Sichuan. In his early years, he went to Japan with his brother Zhang Shanzi to study dyeing and weaving. After returning to China, he studied calligraphy and painting, studied under the famous calligraphers Li Ruiqing and Zeng in the early years of the Republic of China, and later became famous in ancient times. In the early 1940s, he led his disciples to the Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang to copy murals, which was the first time to learn Dunhuang murals and had a great influence. /kloc-moved overseas after 0/949, and lived in Argentina, Brazil and the United States successively. He also lived in Taipei from 1979. He is versatile and good at figures, landscapes and flowers and birds.
