Let's introduce their respective life stories first:
Wang Xizhi, whose name is Shao Yi, was born in Linyi, Langya, Eastern Jin Dynasty. His family is one of the few aristocratic men in the Jin Dynasty. His grandfather is a businessman. His father, Wang Kuang, was the satrap of Huainan, and his uncle, Wang Dao, was famous all over the world and was the prime minister of the Eastern Jin Dynasty. And his other uncle, Wang Dun, was the military commander of the Eastern Jin Dynasty. Wang Langya was in power for some time in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. Because of this background, Wang Xizhi became a doctor as soon as he became an official, then joined the army for Yu Liang, and then transferred to Ningyuan General and Jiangzhou Secretariat, and finally achieved the goal of being a general of the right army and collecting civil history. So people also call him Wang Youjun.
Shi Shuo Xin Yu contains Wang Xizhi's beautiful talk: another scholar-bureaucrat in the Jin Dynasty wanted to marry the Wangs, so he sent his protege to the Wangs to choose a husband. Wang Dao had his sons and nephews observed one by one under the east wing. The master went back and reported that all the young people under the king were well. They heard that the guests were sent by the Xi family to choose a son-in-law, and they all looked very reserved. Only one person ate in the east bed with his chest bare and his hinterland exposed, as if he didn't know about it. Hearing this, Chi Jian said, "This is my husband. _ Later I found out that Wang Xizhi was the one who ate on an empty stomach, so I married my daughter to him.
Wang Xizhi loved calligraphy since childhood. When he was young, he studied calligraphy with his aunt, the famous female calligrapher Mrs. Wei. After crossing the river, he studied the calligraphy of Li Si, Cao, Zhang Zhi, Cai Yong, Zhong You and Liang Hu. This makes his calligraphy integrate the strengths of various schools and become a family of his own. Later generations even called him _ Book Saint _.
Wang Shu, the word Huaizu, was a political figure in the Jin Dynasty, with the title of Lantian Hou, who was called Wang Lantian. Jinyang, a native of Taiyuan, is the son of Wang Cheng, a magistrate in the East China Sea. An official in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, he was a general of Yangzhou secretariat and Wei, and also a minister of books. Wang Shu lost his father when he was young and inherited his father Hou Lantian. Honoring his mother, being poor and keeping his promise, not seeking fame and fortune, he is still unknown at the age of 30, and some even say he is stupid. After Stuart Wang Dao appointed him as a soldier in China because of his family background. In the ninth year of Xianhe, Sima Yue, the king of Langya, was awarded the rank of ancient general, and Wang Shu was called Gongcao and appointed as the commander of Wanling County. Yu Bing, who has a long history, was later appointed as the general of the army.
Wang Shu was later transferred to the coastal satrap, and later transferred to General Jianwei to review the internal history. He is honest in politics, strict with himself, and there is no major incident. Later, because of her mother's funeral, she left her job. After the funeral, Yu Yonghe succeeded Yin Hao, who was abolished because of the failure of the Northern Expedition, as the secretariat of Yangzhou, and recruited the general Lu. Later, he was the governor of Yangzhou, the general of Xuzhou Langya Military Guard, and the leader of Hebei Youping Zhongzheng, who continued as the secretariat of Yangzhou. In the second year of Xingning, Wang Shu-sheng promoted the general Wei to be the official minister and rode as a regular servant. In the second year of Taihe, when he was nearly seventy years old, he asked to abdicate, but the court refused, but Wang Shu refused to continue to be an official. The following year, Wang Shu died at the age of 66. The court posthumously awarded Shi Zhong, a title of generals in ancient times and Kaifu. Posthumous title was named Mu, and because he avoided posthumous title of Di, he changed his name to Jane.
Wang Shu was calm when he was in trouble. When the guests were eloquent, various viewpoints argued with each other, but Wang Shu remained calm and unaffected by the atmosphere. However, on weekdays, he is very impatient. When eating eggs, Uncle Wang tried to use chopsticks. Pierce the egg to eat, but you can't pierce it. Uncle Wang was so angry that he lifted the egg and threw it on the ground. When he saw the egg rolling on the ground, he stepped on it harder, but he didn't. Uncle Wang is even more angry. He even picked up an egg on the ground and put it in his mouth. As soon as he bit it, he spit it out.
So62hu Strictly speaking, Wang Xizhi and Wang Shu have the same surname, the same age and the same clan. However, Wang Xizhi has always despised Wang Shu since he was a child and regarded him as an imaginary enemy. Therefore, it is said in the history books: _ Wang Shu, a general in ancient times, was not famous, as famous as Xihe, but Xihe was very light because of his good relationship. What is said here is that the two kings have the same fame and the same birth. Wang Shu is far inferior to Wang Xizhi in calligraphy and fame, but far superior to Wang Xizhi in official position and workplace reputation. Therefore, _ Wang Youjun lightened Lantian, but the reputation of Lantian's Late Festival turned heavy, especially for the right army. _
After Wang Shu's mother died, Wang Shu, who was then the literature and history of Huiji, left his post to handle the funeral, and Wang Xizhi led Huiji instead. However, after Wang Xizhi arrived, he claimed that he would not come to the door for several days. On one occasion, he went to open the door and Wang Shu went to pick him up. He left without entering the door, humiliating Wang Shu, and the bad blood between them widened. As soon as Wang Shu, the secretariat of Yangzhou, takes office, he will go to various places to bid farewell to local officials. But I passed by Huiji and left without visiting Xizhi, thinking of revenge.
In fact, before this, Xizhi often said to his guests: _ Wang Shu can only be a history book, and he can only be a servant when he is old. It is impossible to ask for another order. _ Wang Shu became a big official, and Xihe was ashamed to be an official under him, so he sent an envoy to the court to request that Huiji be designated as Yuezhou. The messenger failed to complete his mission, and Wang Xizhi's move was laughed at by the wise men at that time. Soon Wang Xizhi was ashamed and said to his son, _ I am not worse than Wang Shu, but my official position is far from him. Is it because you are not as honest as you are? _ Wang Shu later came to Huiji County to learn about Wang Xizhi's political oversight. Deeply ashamed, Wang Xizhi said that he was ill, left Huiji County, swore to his parents' grave and never became an official again. Later, because his oath was too firm, the court stopped recruiting him as an official. After Wang Xizhi resigned, he enjoyed traveling and boating with the orientals. He took Dan medicine with Taoist Xu Mai, collected medical stones thousands of miles away, and traveled to many counties in the East, famous mountains and rivers. In his letter to Xie Wan, a senior official, he also expressed his wish in his later years, that is, to care about mountains and rivers and provide for the aged. Wang Xizhi died at the age of 59, and the court posthumously awarded him as Dr. Jin Guanglu. His sons resigned in accordance with his last wishes and were not sealed.
Wang Xizhi is informal, as can be seen from the _ flat bed _ above. But his narrow-minded, jealous and competitive personality seems to be rarely mentioned. Is it for the saints? It can be seen that there are no perfect people in the world. As for why he despised Uncle Wang when he was young, I'm not that old. I still hope you can teach me.
