From Oracle to Xiaozhuan is a system, which is customarily called "ancient Chinese characters". Although block letters appeared a long time ago, it is still a popular font style today, so it is called "modern Chinese characters". Seal script is a plethora of Chinese characters from ancient times to the present, and is generally included in the scope of modern Chinese characters. Ancient Chinese characters are composed of "line frames", while modern Chinese characters are composed of "strokes of characters". There is a significant difference between the two. The line frames of ancient Chinese characters are usually curved diagrams, but they also have horizontal lines, parallel lines and slashes. Modern Chinese characters are derived from the simplification of the development trend of ancient Chinese characters. Therefore, what I mainly show here is the standard of character creation of ancient Chinese characters, which is actually the regularity of character creation. In the budding period of Chinese characters in my country, they were first discovered as engraved marks on the papyri of the Hemudu culture. Since the discovery of oracle bone inscriptions, the history of the emergence and evolution of Chinese characters, the long-standing Chinese culture that Chinese characters have inherited, and the wisdom-filled character creation method are my country's unique art and a long scroll.
There is a story and some truth in it. It has been thousands of years since Chinese characters were formed. It records the development trend of our country's history and is obvious to all. Talking about Chinese characters, their structure has certain regularity. There are six types of keys: 1. Image, 2. Referring to things, 3. Understanding, 4. Phonograms, 5. Notes, and 6. Borrowing. Among them, hieroglyphics are the basis, and the others are developed on this premise. The total number of pictophonetic characters is large and the application is wide. Zhuanzhu and Yiyi are mostly used in classical Chinese poetry, so the number is not large. Our country's texts are the oldest texts in the world. The oracle bone inscriptions are more than 4,000 years old. The bell and tripod inscriptions and the stone drum inscriptions are both more than 3,000 years old. This has been confirmed by new archaeological discoveries.
The formation of Chinese characters is the joint creation of many people with lofty ideals in history. It is not the invention patent of any one person. What we usually call "Cangjie's creation of characters" is only the history of history. It is a legend that the vast amount of content in our country is difficult to complete with one person's wisdom. This is English that is the accumulation and essence of thousands of workers' daily life. The text is created through the process of abstracting the structure, simplifying the strokes of the characters, and improving the management system on the premise of knowing how to draw. Chinese characters are ideographic characters, so many characters are created using images. Such as walking, sun, moon and so on. There were only more than 3,000 ancient Chinese characters in the oracle bone inscription stage. By the Han Dynasty, the number of characters included in "Shuowen Jiezi" by Baidu had increased to more than 9,000, of which the pictophonetic characters accounted for more than 80%. The calligraphy method is elevated to the key word-making method.
The development of Chinese characters has evolved from ideographic characters to texts that integrate sound and meaning. It is not difficult to see that the creation of Chinese characters has gradually developed from a marking system that combines representation, sound, and meaning. Chinese characters are ideographic texts, which are based on images and are produced based on the unified transformation of form, sound and meaning. Xu Shen of the Han Dynasty said in "Shuowen Jiezi? Xu" that "when Cang first wrote a book, the cover was based on similar images, so it was called Wen; later, the pictophonetic characters complemented each other, which is called Zi. The characters were imitated and multiplied. Written on bamboo and silk, this is called a book. "The writing is a single image, and the characters are molecular partners derived from the gain of form and sound under the premise of a single image. When it is written on bamboo and silk, it becomes a book." Book. Later calligraphy was an art that expressed beauty by writing Chinese character images.
