What is the development history of Quanjude?

The "Quanjude" Roast Duck Restaurant was founded in the third year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1864). The founder Yang Quanren made a living by selling raw chickens and ducks in Beijing. In 1864, Yang Quanren bought the "De Juquan" dry and fresh fruit shop on Qianmen Street, which was on the verge of bankruptcy, and began to sell roast duck and roast donkey meat. Before the opening, a Feng Shui master walked around the new store twice and then stood firm and said: "This is a Feng Shui treasure land with unlimited future. However, this store was very unlucky in the past. If we want to counteract the bad luck, we must gather all the virtues together." 'The old font name was turned upside down and called 'Quanjude', so that the new font name can have a smooth road."

When Yang Quanren heard this, it was exactly what he wanted. Firstly, he had the word "Quan" in his name, and secondly, " "Jude" means to gather virtues, and it can be used to advertise that the shop is doing business with virtues. So Qian Zilong, a calligrapher at the time, was asked to write the plaque, and the time-honored brand "Quanjude", which is famous at home and abroad, was born.
