Luo Zhewen’s calligraphy art

Mr. Luo Zhewen is as fond of poetry and books as many cultural experts. He likes to compose poems and lyrics, but it is not the ordinary chanting of flowers and moonlight or expressing feelings about the times, but "using poems as evidence" and "reciting poems to leave history." The themes of his poems are closely related to the career of ancient architecture, with a simple and fresh documentary style and the characteristics of the times that keep pace with the times. He has been fond of calligraphy since he was a child, and the work he later engaged in was closely related to calligraphy, which also provided a broad stage for his calligraphy practice. Mr. Luo was an easy-going person, had many friends, and did not accept money, so there was an endless stream of people asking for letters. As long as he has time, he will try his best to meet everyone's requirements. Some couplets of places of interest and historical sites were compiled by him himself. For example, he wrote a couplet for the Zhangfei Temple in Langzhong: "Being the master of the people, I will smoke in Henghou Temple from generation to generation." He wrote a couplet for the Fuxi Temple: "The third ancestor of Chinese civilization, the first person of Fuxi in Huaiyang." and other contemporary writers have been included in the list. In "Xuanji Ci" edited by Hong Liang.

Mr. Luo Zhewen said that he is not a professional calligrapher, but his calligraphy combines the "righteousness and peace" of Confucianism, the "empty and fresh" of Buddhism, and the "simple and natural" of Taoism, fully demonstrating his profound knowledge. The elegant and unrestrained temperament of knowledge and cultivation is by no means comparable to ordinary books on skills. His interest in calligraphy also influenced his son, who eventually became a calligrapher. His son is Luo Yang, who is currently a director of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, vice president of the branch of the Central State Organs, a member of the Chinese Art Appraisal Committee of the Ministry of Culture, a member of the Chinese Photographers Association, vice president of the Chinese Art Photography Society, and director of the General Office of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles. .
