Therefore, later generations called this outstanding scholar "a man of great talent" or "a man of eight fights" For example, there is a sentence in Li Shangyin's "Alas" in the Tang Dynasty: "Fu Fei is worried about sitting in the pavilion of knowing heaven and exhausting Wang Chen's talents." In the Tang Dynasty's "Offering Assistant Minister Yang Neihan", there are: "Wen Xia kept his mouth shut, and only gave me gossip eight times" and so on.

The beanstalk is burned under the pot, and the beans are cooked in the pot, crying: "We are born from the same root. Why did you cook me so hard? "
Cao Zhi finished singing and just took seven steps. Hearing this, Cao Pi was ashamed, spared the death penalty and was demoted to Anxiang Hou. The story of Cao Zhi's seven-step poem soon spread, and people praised him for his "seven-step talent".
