Xixiyan Temple in Dingxi, Gansu Province, located in Xiyan Mountain, anding district, was founded in the Ming Dynasty. After many disasters, it has been rebuilt many times. In the twenty-seventh year of the Republic of China (1938), Master Yue 'an successively built more than three halls of Mahatma, three halls of Tibetan Scriptures, five halls of Houdian, a mountain gate, and a monk's room 10. Over the years 10, except for the left and right bell and drum towers, the scale of the five hospitals demolished twice in the seventh year of Tongzhi (1868) and the Republic of China (1930) was basically restored. In the letter, in order to promote Buddhism, the Indian master (Pure Land Master 13) of Suzhou Guobao Temple was invited to draw Buddha statues such as Sakyamuni and Amitabha, and bodhisattvas such as Guanyin, Manjusri and Dizang. Kang Ping, Hou Guojieshan and Zhu Kunshi, the sages of the Town God, presented couplets to the master, saying, "After going through Wuguling Normal University, I have made the Big Beidou famous, rebuilt Fan Yu, and served Zhuang Xiyan enthusiastically when the sword and soldiers were in hot water." Xu Yun, a famous monk in modern times, practiced here. During the Cultural Revolution, monks were forced to leave the temple, and gradually recovered in the past two decades, becoming the seat of anding district Buddhist Association. The name of the temple was inscribed by Zhao Puchu, Chairman of the Chinese Buddhist Association. Originally a Zen Dojo, now it is a Pure Land Dojo. The present owner is Master Benjue. The consultant of the sutra depository is a layman in Yin-Guo Hou.
