Guests say that my book is good, what is so good about my book? Everyone should do the best, and I know more about my score. Han Li Zhonglang thought, Tang Zhenlu Guoke, Xiangru'e

This is a poem by Mr. Fu Shan, which is included in "Frost Red Niche Collection" and "The Complete Works of Fu Shan". The whole poem is:

They are shouting that my book is good, where is the good thing about my book?

Everyone should do his best, and he knows more about his score.

Han Li Zhonglangxiang, Tang Zhenlu Guoke.

Xiangru sings the cloth, and the old man rubs his hands.

This is a poem by Mr. Fu Shan talking about his calligraphy. The main idea is: Everyone in the world is shouting that my calligraphy is good. What is so good about my calligraphy? The way I write stipples is no different from others, it's just that my inner understanding and application of them are more experienced than others. When writing official script, I like Cai Yong of the Han Dynasty (Cai Yong worshiped Zuo Zhonglang when he was emperor of the Han Dynasty, so later generations called him "Cai Zhonglang"). When writing regular script, I use Yan Zhenqing of the Tang Dynasty as a standard (regular script is also called Zhenshu). ; The State of Lu was Yan Zhenqing, and Yan Zhenqing was named the founding father of Lu County). What Sima Xiangru of the Han Dynasty praised most was the majestic and vast atmosphere (Sima Xiangru's "Shanglin Fu": "Bu Yi Hong Ze", Xue Zong's note on "Bu Yi": "Yu San Beiye", "San Phi" (meaning majestic and vast), when I write, I also pursue this kind of atmosphere, wave my old hands, just let nature go, and use it freely.

Fu Shan despises servility the most. This is how he behaves and writes. His calligraphy aesthetic proposition of "Four Nings and Four Nos" best reflects his principles of life and writing. This poem also embodies this principle.
