China Broadcasting Network, Beijing, June 8, 2007 On the morning of June 6, during the Dragon Boat Festival, the Xiangshan Botanical Garden was crowded with tourists, and a red carpet was laid in front of the Cao Xueqin Memorial Hall to hold a recital for the newly published "Continued Dream of Red Mansions" by writer Wen Haoran. The recent rise of "A Dream of Red Mansions" has added another topic.
"Tribute to Mr. Cao Xueqin: Wen Haoran's" A Dream of Red Mansions "recital was hosted by the China Provincial Department of Local Art and Traditional Culture Protection, with Cao Xueqin Memorial Hall as the co-organizer. The recital was mainly attended by artists from Beijing, including painters, poets and calligraphers.
Wen Haoran's sequel A Dream of Red Mansions has been officially published by Kyushu Publishing House. In the preface, Kong Dong Qing said: Wen Haoran's sequel, claiming to continue a dream of red mansions with Buddha, is full of dreamy colors. Wen Haoran's parody of A Dream of Red Mansions not only shows his extraordinary courage and talent, but also shows his good desire to return to tradition. Her sequel can be summarized as "based on a dream of red mansions, loyal to the original heart, displaying talents and facing the times", which represents a brand-new turning point.
Wen Haoran, also known as Wujin Zhuo Ma, is a member of Chinese Writers Association. He has published such novels as Sky of Destiny, Soul of Flowers and Birds, Fragrance of Prajna, Introduction to the Dragon, Marrying a Villa and Fengmingtai. In the history of China's novels, the sequel of A Dream of Red Mansions is a must. Even before the original work of A Dream of Red Mansions was officially published in Fu Zi, there was a sequel. Some scholars believe that all the first drafts of A Dream of Red Mansions were written before 1754, and some people have read the whole manuscript and copied it, but now we can only see the first 80 manuscripts of 14. 120 species were identified as persistent species. Among many sequels, Gao E is the most famous.
At the beginning of this year, the writer Liu finished the novel A Dream of Red Mansions in seven years, and published Liu's version of A Dream of Red Mansions in three places at the same time. Thanks to the promotion of CCTV's Lecture Room, there is another upsurge of writing a dream of red mansions. The publication of A Dream of Red Mansions by Wen Haoran appeared in another way. Wen Haoran galloped in the gap of historical narrative, showing his skill, "making a Dojo in the snail shell" and showing "his own dream of red mansions". On the premise of not violating the existing mainstream research results of redology, it will continue the significance of the times and the main spirit.
The recitation was presided over by Liu Haofeng, a young scholar and artist. Ms. Li Mingxin, curator of Cao Xueqin Memorial Hall, made an opening speech, and Mr. Zhang Haitao, editor-in-chief of Kyushu Publishing House, made a final summary. After the recitation, Li Mingxin, director of Cao Xueqin Memorial Hall, led everyone to visit Cao Xueqin Memorial Hall and gave a non-detailed explanation.
