Li Qingkun (1911-2008), formerly known as Zhenxuan, was born in Yin County, Zhejiang Province. Born in Ningbo in February 1911. In 1956, he was a special representative at the Zhejiang Provincial Congress of Advanced Workers in the Cultural and Educational System. Due to ineffective treatment, he died at Ningbo Second Hospital at 9:07 on December 19, 2008 at the age of 99. He served as president of the Ningbo Historical Society, vice president of the Ningbo Education Society, honorary director of the Ningbo Calligraphers Association, and vice chairman of the Friends of the Ningbo CPPCC. He has successively served as a deputy to the fifth, sixth and seventh People's Congress of Zhejiang Province, a member of the second, third, fourth and fifth CPPCC of Zhejiang Province; a deputy to the Ningbo Municipal People's Congress and the first, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth Ningbo Municipal People's Congress. Delegate to the People's Congress, served as member of the Municipal People's Government in 1954, deputy to the Seventh and Eighth Ningbo Municipal People's Congress, and member of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress.
