Born in 1923, graduated from the History Department of Beijing Normal University in 1943.
Inherited his family education when he was young, he loves literature and history, likes to be concise in writing, and does not use more than one word; Gengye calligraphy started with red drawing; in middle age, he drew right and "checked" constantly; in his later years, he took window classes and specialized in running script. He studied under Liu Gongquan, Zheng Banqiao, He Shaoji and Huang Shanshangu, and has been writing and lecturing for more than 70 years.
In his middle age, he painted bamboos in the field. He learned from Zheng Banqiao and Mr. Wang Senran's thick bamboo skills, and published "Zhu Bamboo and Ink Cicada". In his later years, he painted more pictures of "Innocent Family".
In January 1999, the China Archives Publishing House published "Fu Gengye's Paintings and Calligraphy Collection"; in November 2000, the China Literature and History Publishing House published the "Suixin Collection". In the autumn of 1998, the stone tablet of "Juyong Greenery", one of the eight scenic spots in Yanjing written by Fu Gengye, was erected on the side of Juyong Pass Road. In May 2000, at the invitation of the People's Government of Zhejiang Province, Fu Gengye inscribed plaques for Lingyin Temple in West Lake and Longjing Imperial Tea Garden in West Lake in Hangzhou, and painted "Bamboo and Stone" for the Ziyunxuan Painting Pavilion in Zhejiang Province. In the autumn of the same year, the "Five Hundred Arhat Hall" of Lingyin Temple in West Lake was completed, and a horizontal plaque "Five Hundred Arhat Hall" written by Fu Gengye was hung.

Later he served as counselor to France and minister to Spain. Mr. Gengye was born in Beijing in 1923. Influenced by his family, he has been fond of literature and history since he was a child, and has a strong interest in calligraphy and painting. Although his calligraphy and painting is based on Banqiao, it is not limited to this. Instead, he has dabbled widely and learned from the strengths of many people - the charm of Han Li, Huang Shangu, Liu Gongquan, Shi Tao and Bada Shanren are all the objects of his pursuit. , and can integrate ancient innovations to form its own unique style that is rigorous in composition, pays attention to artistic conception, and pursues the interest of pen and ink.
Mr. is now in his eighties, but he still serves as the honorary president of the Oriental Painting and Calligraphy Research Society, the vice president of the Changbai Painting and Calligraphy Research Society, and serves as a consultant to many calligraphy and painting groups. Frequent PEN meetings and various donation activities are indispensable for the elderly. Not long ago, Mr. Gengye was invited to inscribe 11 plaques for Yuantong Hall, Daxiong Hall and Five Hundred Arhat Hall of Lingyin Temple in West Lake. At the same time, he wrote "Longjing Imperial Tea Garden" and "Northern Song Dynasty" for "Longjing Tea Garden", one of the new ten scenic spots in West Lake.
