Although Jianhua Middle School was private at the beginning, it took over from President Chen Jifang, that is, it reorganized the school board, adjusted the organization, hired another teacher, and regarded teachers as the foundation of the school. He invited famous experts, scholars and outstanding young people in Wenzhou at that time to teach and hold posts. Such as Xia Ye (playwright), Shen Lian (later a famous professor), Zeng Gengxi (a famous calligrapher), Pan Chenglian (a famous Chinese medicine practitioner) and others, all left footprints of hard work in Wenzhou Experimental Middle School.

After liberation, the city leaders also paid special attention to the school, with the continuous strengthening of teachers and the increasing improvement of teaching quality. In the early 195s, when the country called for "marching into science", many teachers in Wenzhou Experimental Middle School made achievements in teaching and scientific research through their own efforts, and some teachers also published articles in national professional journals. For example, teachers such as Dong Zhaoshou (Chuping), Huang Shizhong and Ye Changhai have successively become famous experts and professors. The school attaches great importance to the deployment of teachers and the training of teachers, and the teaching level of teachers is constantly improving, and the teaching quality is getting better and better. Even in 1958 and 1959, during the upsurge of iron and steel smelting and work-study program, the school still did not relax its teaching work. Wang Xianglin, Cheng Zenghui, Hu Chuping, Ye Guanchun and Pan Shujin from Wenzhou Experimental Middle School were awarded as winners in the classroom teaching selection activities organized by Lucheng District. Zhang Shuqin and Chi Che were awarded the title of "Wenzhou Model Worker" successively, and Chi Che was also rated as "National Excellent Teacher" by the Ministry of Education. At the same time, the school carried out experiments on teaching topics such as "asynchronous teaching method", "English three L textbooks" and "mathematics self-study method", and achieved good results.
