2. Wu Quan (898-944), the son-in-law of a South Korean crystal water master, was killed by the tooth general Kieu Cong Tien in 937. In the second year, Wu Quan sent troops from Aizhou (now Tsinghua) to kill Kieu Cong Tien.
In 939, he defeated the South Han army in Baiteng River, became king and built Guluo (now northwest of Hanoi, north bank of Red River, guarded by former Tang Annan, namely Jiaozhou), thus creating the situation of Vietnam's independence from China, and was regarded as an important figure in the independent founding of ancient Vietnam by later generations. In the first year of the late Jin Dynasty (944), Wu Quan died at the age of 47 and reigned for seven years.
3. Wu Cheng'en (about 1500- 1582), a novelist, was born in Huai 'an in the Ming Dynasty. He is considered to be the author of Journey to the West.

The origin of Wu surname:
The first origin comes from Yan Di Jiang's family. Long before the Yellow Emperor, there was a tribe called Jiang, and his totem was Qian Yu.
