Qin Yang, a native of Qinyang, Henan Province, joined the army in February 1978 and worked in Xinxiang Retired Cadres Office of the General Armament Department. He is now a member of China Calligraphers Association and a member of the Art Committee of China Calligraphy Research Institute. Calligraphy works have participated in many major national exhibitions of the whole army, and some of them have won prizes. While creating calligraphy, we pay attention to the study of calligraphy. Four special topics, Calligraphy, Multicultural Achievements in Wei and Jin Dynasties, The Emergence of Cao Zhang in Qin and Han Dynasties, Interpretation of Sima Guang's Calligraphy, and Introduction to Zhao Ti's Regular Scripts and Poems with Nucleus, were published in professional newspapers, and a series of sketches of Cao Zhang calligraphers and their works were serialized in Calligraphy Guide.
