Diary

Mrs. Wei was one of the few truly talented women. Wang Xizhi copied Wei's calligraphy until he was 12 years old. Mrs. Wei's "Jin Feng Tie" contains 60 words, in which she writes: Wei had a disciple, Wang Yi, who was young and very capable of learning.

It is said that Mrs. Wei was eager to learn since she was a child, and was especially obsessed with the art of calligraphy. She became a teacher of the great calligrapher Zhong Yao very early on, and learned the essence of it. During the Jin Dynasty, there were comments about her calligraphy: The ice in the broken jade pot, the moon in the ruined Yaotai, are as graceful as trees, and as quiet as the breeze. In the Tang Dynasty, her calligraphy was even classified as a masterpiece.

The fonts of "Le Yi Lun" in Erwang's Tie are varied and subtle. Today I am copying Mrs. Wei's calligraphy and I see many familiar brushwork. After this sentence, Wei's font changes in charm, first restrained and then vigorous, and also in regular regular script. It seems that Mrs. Wei has seen that this student has a bright future, so her words are full and powerful.

Read the post and read it, and the emotions hidden in the handwriting will flow freely. Today I am writing this post, and I can feel it between the lines and the dots in it. I can’t explain the feeling clearly. I really feel like I have a connection with the gods.

I need to use finished ink to copy the entire paper. I purchased a new Xuanming medium-thickness ink from Japan. As expected, the color is very positive and the glue feeling is not obvious. But towards the end of writing, the ink and glue became thicker. Daily grinding of ink ingots is slow and not suitable for long drawings. Finished ink is also one of the daily supplies. I don’t know if the Yundouyan medium-rich version of the domestically produced Yidege is the same. But it is slightly better than the ordinary Cao Sugong oil smoke ink I used before, but not as good as the legend says.

Because oil fume ink has a certain luster, a warm hue, rich and shiny color levels, and can be thick or light, it is mostly used for drawing lines and rendering, and is suitable for calligraphy and painting exercises or works. Pine smoke ink is dark and matte, with a slightly cool color. In ancient times, it was often used to render hair and eyebrows, and is especially suitable for writing small regular script and fine brushwork paintings. The introduction of Xuanming Ink is in Japanese, and the ingredients of the toner used cannot be seen. However, the glue in the ink is not as obvious as the glue in domestic ink. If the glue does not become obviously thicker at the end of the ink use, you will not be able to feel the glue at the front.

The ink at the bottom of the inkstone became more and more obvious, and dry strokes were produced when writing. The expected graininess never appeared. Under the light, you can see the obvious glue look on the ink. Compared with the obvious glue and even graininess in domestic inks in the past, it seems that the glue is different. The glue in Xuanming ink is thin and there is no obvious stickiness when writing. But the toner doesn't make much difference.

Don’t be superstitious or blindly follow trends, not to mention that domestic ink is much cheaper. Excluding the glue problem, finished ink is still a good choice.
