Introduction to Xie

Xie (1877-1958)12, a Hong Kong native, is a poet and calligrapher from Panyu, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. He owns a jewelry store (now a bank) and is the great-grandfather of a Hong Kong superstar. 19 12 At the beginning of this year, Guangzhou businessmen set up the Guangdong Businessmen's Public Order Association, with the purpose of assisting the military government in maintaining public order in Guangdong. Xie became the vice president of the association and delivered an important speech. 1945, Xie, Huang Weibo, Wu Xianzi and Feng Xiangkui founded the "Fruitful Society". By 1963, they had published 9 poems and recorded more than 70 poems, which gathered people and became an important poetry society in Hong Kong.
