The Artistic Value of Zheng Wengong's Lower Monument
"Zheng Wengong Xiabei" has been eroded by wind and rain for more than 2,500 years because it was carved on a cliff, which has been seriously damaged, and most of the fonts and strokes are blurred. The handwriting on the lower tablet is bigger than that on the upper tablet, slightly clear and complete, and the word potential can be found, which is especially praised by scholars. Its inscriptions are mostly round pens, which are very comfortable to write and comfortable to write. This feature is formed because it combines the advantages of India, officials and grass. That is to say, it absorbs the different characteristics of seal script, and the fine and wide official script and the vivid and smooth cursive script are unique in calligraphy in the Northern Wei Dynasty. Bao in Qing Dynasty praised him in A Tale of Two Ships: "There are many inscriptions in the north, and the inscriptions are unique, but the seal style, rhyme and grass sentiment are all in it." Kang Youwei even called Zheng Wengong Xiapi "the pole of Weibei round pen".
