How to Cultivate Primary School Students' Chinese Writing Ability —— A Record of Thematic Teaching and Research Activities

I have been engaged in Chinese teaching for nearly thirteen years. In recent years, with the popularization of computers, the Chinese writing ability of middle school students has been declining.

The investigation and research on students' writing situation is mainly manifested in the following aspects: First, the handwriting is scrawled, illegible, and the calligraphy is even worse, and even the most basic writing methods are unknown. Second, the order of strokes does not conform to the writing norms. Third, there are many typos, and the sounds, shapes and meanings of some commonly used Chinese characters cannot be correctly mastered. The fourth is to simplify Chinese characters at will and create Chinese characters. There are many reasons for the above problems. Details are as follows:

First, there are shortcomings in Chinese teaching. In Chinese teaching, most teachers attach importance to the cultivation of students' listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities. In addition, due to the large number of classes, the writing guidance is neglected, and no clear and strict requirements are put forward for students, which leads to students not mastering the basic knowledge of Chinese character writing and not forming good writing habits.

Second, teachers' own professional level needs to be further improved, especially students' first teachers.

Third, students do not pay enough attention to themselves, with a large amount of homework and many courses. In addition, under the pressure of senior high school entrance examination and college entrance examination, they only pay attention to the completion of learning tasks, while ignoring the norms of writing.

Fourth, teachers in various subjects use nonstandard simplified words to varying degrees, and network language has a negative impact on students.

Fifth, students' written communication is getting less and less. With the popularity of the Internet and mobile phones, there are fewer and fewer opportunities for written communication among students, relatives and friends, and family members. Students lose the opportunity to show their writing skills and appreciate others' writing, thus forming the problem of Chinese character writing.

Indeed, language is an extremely important communication tool for human beings, and writing is the writing symbol of language and the most important auxiliary tool for human beings. Chinese characters are the most beautiful characters in the world. In the long process of development, Chinese characters have formed a unique writing form, which is called "one word and one picture". They are not rigid symbols, but elves with unique personalities. Therefore, in teaching, I attach importance to changing the disadvantages of students' writing, and I think it is necessary to prescribe the right medicine according to the situation.

First, raise awareness and strengthen training.

Schools should put forward strict requirements for teachers, and the blackboard writing should be exemplary, and you can't just draw and scribble. Make students realize that writing is also a necessary course. Teachers and parents should also take training students' writing as a task to complete seriously.

Second, pay attention to methods and be persuasive.

Students' writing training should pay attention to methods, and students should not feel that writing is boring. We should adopt various methods to make students interested in writing, form habits and stick to it actively. Usually homework, composition, exams, etc. It should be graded and the score should be raised appropriately. Teachers should regularly comment on lectures, and do a good job in writing homework, composition, examination papers, etc. Open it in the form of "small exhibition", so as to improve students' awareness of writing and enhance their confidence in writing.

Third, strict requirements and more guidance.

As the saying goes, "No rules, no Fiona Fang", writing training must have strict requirements. For primary school students, hard pen, regular script and standardized characters should be the main training methods. It is best to choose some teachers with good handwriting or hire some people with good handwriting to give guidance in writing class. Never ask questions, let students practice their own handwriting, or just ask questions without guidance. Otherwise, it will not only fail to achieve good results, but also lead students astray.

Fourth, persevere and step by step.

Fifth, students' writing ability is not achieved overnight, but long-term persistence. At the beginning, students are not easy to insist, so some compulsory measures are needed. After a period of practice, students will take the initiative to practice.

In short, to improve students' writing ability, teachers and students must work together and persevere in order to achieve results.
