I like calligraphy very much. I began to learn calligraphy from Ou Yangxun's "The Spring Inscription of Jiucheng Palace", and then I extensively read Preface to Saint Education, Preface to Lanting and Manuscripts for Sacrificing My Nephew, and dabbled in Wei Bei. Having worked in the cultural and artistic circles for more than ten years, I was fortunate to observe Mo Bao, a great calligrapher in China, and to learn from famous artists such as Sun Yiqing and Su Shizhu. His works respect tradition and pursue fresh, elegant, hearty and unpretentious style. His works have been selected for the National Calligraphy Exhibition, the National Calligraphy Exhibition for Young and Middle-aged People, the China-Japan Calligraphy Exchange Exhibition and the Japan Zhenxianghui Calligraphy Exhibition, and won many awards. He also participated in some important calligraphy exchange exhibitions and pen meetings with Japanese, Korean, Singaporean, Taiwan Province, Hongkong and Macau. His works have been collected by some provincial and municipal museums, memorial halls and international friends, and have been photographed in many auctions and collected by collectors.
In 2002, he was awarded as a member of China Calligraphers' Association. In 2005, his works were selected for the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Palace Museum, and the "First China Contemporary Famous Calligraphy and Painting Collection Exhibition" sponsored and nominated by the Palace Museum, China Artists Association and China Calligraphers Association was collected by the Palace Museum.
