Ou Yangxun was a famous calligrapher and official in Tang Dynasty. He is famous for his beautiful calligraphy. The most familiar should be the world's first regular script "Jiuchenggong Liquan Ming".
The Ming of Liquan in Jiucheng Palace was written by Wei Zheng, which recorded the discovery of spring water by Emperor Taizong during his summer vacation in Jiucheng Palace. This monument was erected in the sixth year of Zhenguan in Tang Dynasty (632). The monument is 2.44 meters high, 0.27 meters thick, 0.87 meters wide at the top and 0.93 meters wide at the bottom. The monument body and the monument head are connected as a whole, and six dragons are wrapped around the monument head.
The inscription on Liquan in Jiuchenggong describes the origin of Jiuchenggong and the grandeur of its architecture, praises the martial arts and frugality of Emperor Taizong, introduces the discovery of Liquan in Miyagi, and quotes ancient books to explain that the emergence of Liquan was caused by "the son of heaven made virtue". Finally, the warning of "aim high, persevere and avoid surplus" is put forward.
The whole monument has 24 lines, each with 49 words. On the front, there are six characters "Jiuchenggong Liquan inscription". The best rubbings handed down from ancient times are the Song rubbings collected by Li Qi in Ming Dynasty, which are now in the Palace Museum in Beijing.
Ninety percent Palace was written by Ou Yangxun at the age of 75, with neat brushwork and rigorous structure, showing the characteristics of fine and rigorous European calligraphy structure, roundness and beauty. The whole monument is not slack, not messy. It is Ou Yangxun's masterpiece, and Zhao Han in Ming Dynasty rated it as "the first official book of graphite prints in China". Or praise: It is not too much to use the Model Law.
