Wang Xizhi's masterpiece calligraphy

Wang Xizhi's representative calligraphy includes the regular script Lun Yi, the cursive script Seventeen Sticks, the running script Aunt Tie, and the preface to Lanting Collection.

1. Seventeen posts

Seventeen posts is a famous cursive masterpiece of Wang Xizhi, which was named after the word "seventeen" at the beginning. The original ink was lost early, and now the Seventeen Sticks handed down from generation to generation is a block print.

Tang Zhangyanyuan recorded the original ink of Seventeen Chapters: "Seventeen Chapters is 1 feet long, that is, it has 17 lines and 943 words. It's a famous post by Xuan He. Emperor Taizong asked for the books of the two kings, and the books of the king had 3, pieces of paper, with a volume of one foot and two feet. Take the traces and words of the books and compose them into volumes. "

Second, Aunt's Post

Aunt's Post is the work of Wang Xizhi in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. The "Aunt's Post" collected in Liaoning Provincial Museum is a copy of Tang Dynasty, with 6 lines and 42 words. The calligraphy style of the works is different from the copies handed down by Wang Xizhi. It is simple and generous, but rarely elegant and graceful. In 696 AD, Wu Zetian of the Tang Dynasty ordered a double hook to fill in the outline, which was collected in Long Live the Tongtian Post.

On Le Yi * * * 44 lines, in lower case. It's Wang Xizhi's regular script calligraphy. The original author is Xia Houxuan, and the original has long since disappeared. When it was said that the original was thrown into the kitchen fire by an old woman in Xianyang during the war, it was said that it was collected by Emperor Taizong. There are many kinds of existing world-printed editions, among which Secret Pavilion Edition and Yuezhou Shishi Edition are the best.

IV. Preface to Lanting Collection

The preface to Lanting Collection was in the Jin Dynasty of China (AD 353). Wang Xizhi, a book sage, wrote "the first running book in the world" under the Lanzhu Mountain in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province, also known as Preface to Lanting, Preface to the River, Zantie and Poems of Lanting on March 3rd.

in April 353 (3rd day of March, 9th year of Jin Yonghe), Wang Xizhi, who was then the civil history of Huiji, and 41 friends, including Xie An and Sun Chuo, were drinking and writing poems at Lanting Yaji in Shanyin, Huiji.

Wang Xizhi compiled these poems into an episode, and made a preface to it, describing the story of wandering water and expressing his inner feelings caused by it. This preface is Preface to Lanting Collection. And wrote a preface to Lanting Collection.
