Brief introduction of Han Jiaao's art

Han Jiaqiang is a famous educator, writer and calligrapher in contemporary China. 1932 was born in Shanghai, a family of traditional Chinese medicine, and a scholarly family; Influenced by family studies since childhood, he studied calligraphy at the age of five and was admitted to Tsinghua University in Beijing and Fudan University in Shanghai at the age of seventeen. Influenced by Mr. Wen Yiduo and Mr. Zhu Ziqing's thoughts, he was selected to study in the Chinese Department of Tsinghua University, graduated at the age of 2/kloc-0, and stayed on as a teacher. At the age of 24, he was transferred to Tsinghua High School as the principal. Calligraphers studied seal script, official script, Wei Bei and Cao Zhang under the famous calligrapher Li Jian (disciple of Li Ruiqing). Start with the bronze inscription, lay the foundation of seal script, and then make progress step by step. First of all, we tried to write Mao and He, and then we wrote various representative names in Lishu and Weibei. Later, we learned from Cao Zhang, combining rigidity with softness, which was ingenious and colorful, and integrated seal script, seal script, line, official and grass into a furnace of pure green.

He was the president of the Calligraphy Teaching Research Association of Beijing Education Society, and taught calligraphy to students from the United States, Japan, Korea, Britain, France, Singapore and other countries in Tsinghua University, Hong Kong Baptist University and Towson University, Maryland, USA. Students are all over the world and have made great contributions to the development and popularization of China's calligraphy art. He edited the first, second and third volumes of Basic Calligraphy and the teaching slides of College Calligraphy. His works include Seeing China Culture from Calligraphy (co-author), Pronunciation of Kunqu Opera, Selected Chinese Style Calligraphy by Han Jiaao, Li Sao in Han Jiaao's cursive script, etc.
