From "The Song of the Gale" written by Liu Bang
The strong wind blows and the clouds fly, and the sea returns to its hometown. Ande warriors are here to guard the four sides!
In the eleventh year of Emperor Gaozu of the Han Dynasty (196 BC), the king of Huainan, Yingbu, rebelled. Liu Bang personally led a large army to attack him, but Yingbu fled in panic. Liu Bang ordered his men to continue the pursuit, and he He led some of his troops back to the court. When passing through his hometown of Peixian County, he set up a banquet in the palace to invite his fellow villagers and selected 120 young people to sing and make music. Liu Bang drank to his head and suddenly built the building himself and composed an impromptu song: "The wind is blowing, the clouds are flying, and the power is strong." When I join the sea, I return to my hometown, and when I find a strong warrior, I guard the four directions." After singing, he asked the young people to learn to sing along with him and even danced himself. Where he was moved, tears streamed down his face.
"Song of the Great Wind" expresses Liu Bang's pride in returning to his hometown and his urgent desire to stabilize the country. After his death, Emperor Hui of the Han Dynasty established Peigong as an ancestral temple to worship Liu Bang, and asked the 120-year-old youth who sang with Liu Bang to specialize in music work. By the time of Emperor Jing of the Han Dynasty, "Da Feng Song" had been the song of Peidi all year round. Music and dance performed at the ancestral temple.
