1949 joined the China people's liberation army, 1958 changed jobs and worked as a journalist and editor for nearly 30 years. Former second director of China Calligraphers Association, vice president of China lettering research society, executive director of China Paper-cutting Society, member of China Photographers Association, executive vice chairman and secretary general of Xinjiang Calligraphers Association. Now he is a consultant of Xinjiang Book Association.
