Going to Xi 'an was the summer before I went to graduate school. I want to go to Xi after the exam. Many students took the postgraduate entrance examination. I heard that Xi 'an's food is excellent.
Before I went to Xi 'an, I went to the local youth hostel and found a youth hostel near the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. It was my first time to stay in a youth hostel.
Get off the bus according to the checked route or take a bus all the way to the vicinity of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and find a youth hostel to live for a long time. This youth tour should be regarded as a typical one, but it is novel, because it is my first time to stay.
The first floor of the Youth Travel Service is that kind of activity room. There is a big kang in it and a table in the middle, which is used to play chess. Then there is a hall next to it. There are many tables and stools. On one side, there is a blackboard on the whole wall, on which are written the boss's travel advice to tourists and many tourists' messages. On the other side, there is a big bookshelf filled with all kinds of books. On the other side of the hall, there is a pool table for everyone to play with. All the rooms are above the second floor, and the first floor is all for everyone to play.
During the day, I climbed the wall with my friends and felt how small I was under the high wall. I lamented the great wisdom of the ancients. In order to resist the attack of foreign enemies, we built this high wall. We walked around the wall and looked down from it, feeling that there were few pedestrians and cars.
After I came back, I transferred to the nearby Big Wild Goose Pagoda.
The Big Wild Goose Pagoda is the tallest building nearby. At first glance, it feels like it's going straight into the sky. In front of the tower is the fountain terrace square, where many people play with water and take pictures.
In the evening, I happened to meet a friend of the Youth Brigade. Chatted and made an appointment to go to the Furong Garden in the Tang Dynasty. The hibiscus garden in the evening is very gorgeous against the light. The palaces in the Tang Dynasty have a magnificent feeling. There are many statue buildings in the courtyard, which also shows us the prosperity of historical sites in the Tang Dynasty.
At noon the next day, my friends and I went to Huimin Street in Xi 'an. I feel that many meals in Huimin Street are really authentic Xi pasta, just like the mutton bread in soup that I ate for the first time. Maybe I, a southerner who eats rice, can't get used to this kind of food, and I don't think it's as delicious as the legend, but the local meat buns are absolutely first-class praise. There are many people in Huimin Street. It is suggested that you don't have to go to the particularly delicious shops uploaded on the Internet, just find some local shops.
The whole city of Xi 'an feels a little old and full of cultural history. Many locals don't rush to work like Beijing, where most houses look more contemporary. Then the greening is particularly good, giving people a feeling of full of green. I like Xi 'an very much, because it is not as comfortable as Chengdu, nor as nervous as Beijing. It has its own rhythm and cultural background.
