In 1989, he was selected into the "Dictionary of Names in Modern Calligraphy". In 1994, he was selected into "Who's Who in the Chinese Contemporary Art Circle". In the same year, he was selected into the "Dictionary of World Modern Artists". In 2005, he won the title of "Outstanding Chinese Contemporary Artist". In 2006, he was awarded the title of "Artist with both Virtue and Art" by the International Chinese Art Society.
