Brief introduction of Danba monument

"Danba Monument", also known as "Danba Emperor Monument", is the ink on the monument written by Zhao Mengfu, a painter and calligrapher in Yuan Dynasty. Zhao Mengfu (1254 ~ 1322), a native of Huzhou (now Xing Wu, Zhejiang), was born in Song Xue Road and Shuijing Palace. Official to Hanlin Bachelor, Dr. Rong Lu. The inscription is in regular script, 33.6 cm long and 400 cm wide. It is an inscription written by Zhao Mengfu at the behest of Yuan Renzong, which is recorded in Nanyang Calligraphy Table, An Overview of Painting and Calligraphy in Gufengtang, Printing and Selling in Summer, and Catalogue of Painting and Calligraphy in Sanyutang. This volume was written in the third year of Yan You (13 16), with exquisite calligraphy, which is the pen of later generations. After the volume, there are inscriptions by Yao, Yang Xian, Pan Zuyin, Wang, Wang, Yang Shoujing, Xu Naipu and the collection mark. Now it is in the Palace Museum.
