Huang Ziyuan. According to the information of China Calligraphers Association, Huang Ziyuan was a calligrapher and industrialist in the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China. Born in the 17th year of Daoguang (1837), he was promoted to the provincial examination in the 6th year of Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty (1867), and he was ranked second in palace examination the following year.
