What are the artistic features of Zheng Xie's calligraphy?
Zheng Xie (1693 ~ 1765) was born in Banqiao and Xinghua (now Jiangsu). Zheng Xie's running script calls itself "six and a half books", which can integrate four styles. "Li Pin of the State Dynasty" said: "Zheng Banqiao is drunk as a husband and scolds his seat." "Six books and a half" is a major feature of calligraphy, which is a kind of calligraphy between Kai, Li and Cao, and it incorporates the method of painting. According to Zheng Xie's account, he failed to learn poetry and changed to calligraphy. I didn't learn calligraphy well, so I went to learn painting. Ci poetry in Han and Wei Dynasties, Cui Cai and Zhong You, ancient tablet broken, deliberately pursued. Li Yu's "Overview of Oberoi's Room Painting and Calligraphy" Volume III says calligraphy: "Imitating He and Huang Luzhi means dividing books and painting Cynthia in painting." Official script is the so-called "divided book", also called "eight-part book". It is called "six and a half books" because there are more official scripts than sample books, and the divided books are combined into sample books. A strong sense of painting is another feature of "Six Books and a Half". Zheng Banqiao himself once said that painting bamboo should have the same style as calligraphy, and bamboo should pay more attention to shade and density. You know, painting knows calligraphy, and Zhu Lan is like a grass official. So there are many paintings in his Six Books and a Half.
