Introduction to cursive script:
On the origin of cursive script, Wang Jingfen, a contemporary calligraphy theorist, wrote: "Cao Zhang and Cao Jin are independent characters formed from the official culture, which started with the convenience and quickness of writing, so cursive script comes from the people." The article "Non-cursive script" written by Zhao Yi in the Eastern Han Dynasty shows that cursive script was the earliest art people appreciated. According to Xuanhe Pu Shu, there were 65 cursive script writers in history by the early Song Dynasty.
