Chinese characters were invented by Cang Xie.

Cang Xie said:

Cang Xie, formerly known as Hou Gang, also known as Cang Xie's first teacher, is also known as Shi Huang, Cang Wang and Cang Sheng. Shuowen Jiezi, Shiben and Huainanzi all recorded that Cang Xie was a historian of Samonji in the period of the Yellow Emperor. He got inspiration from the footprints of birds and animals, and collected, sorted out and used them, which played an important role in the creation of Chinese characters.

Cang Xie is also the god of Chinese characters in Taoism. According to historical records, Cang Xie had two eyes and four eyes, and was born with a sense of virtue. He observed the movement trend of stars and the footprints of birds and beasts, and created characters according to his own image, which eliminated the ignorance of knotting at that time and created the foundation of civilization. Therefore, he is known as "Cang Xie of Wen Zu".

History:

This prehistoric legend has never been mentioned in ancient books before the Warring States Period. Cang Xie was first mentioned by Xun Qing during the Warring States Period. Later, it gradually developed into the legend that "Cang Xie was the official historian of the Yellow Emperor". Huangdi was one of the leaders of tribal alliances in the late primitive society. At that time, there was no state machine. It can be seen that the term "historian" was obviously applied by later generations with the official name of the state machine.
