Appreciation of Fang Gan's Peony Poems

Appreciation of Peony Poems in Peony

Antisense

Will Fang Ting fall sooner or later? On the seat, the painting screen opens.

The flowers are light rose, and the leaves are greasy and pink.

You don't have to praise peony for building red bricks, and Bai Ping doesn't have to show off her weight.

Look at the flowers diligently, and don't learn to swim bees every day.

There were many poems about peony in the Tang Dynasty. This poem by Fang Gan is one of the most distinctive poems about peony in the late Tang Dynasty.

"Excuse me, will Tingfang be planted sooner or later? In the seat, the screen is open. " This poem begins with a question and is compared to a painting screen, vivid as a peony in the eyes. Because I don't know "planting sooner or later", I have to "ask questions" and ask questions. The sentence pattern is unique and novel, which shows from the side that this is a flower viewing at a friend's house, so I feel surprised and novel at first sight. The first two sentences of this poem are full of interest of surprise and admiration, which suddenly caught the reader's attention. Three or four sentences, from far to near, describe in detail: the elegant flowers of peony, like a beautiful woman's face and cheeks cleverly painted with rouge, are more vivid and charming against the rich leaves. Although there is nothing strange about using beauty to describe peony, an important transition has been completed in the poem: peony has changed from a screen flower to a beauty, flowers have gained life, and poetry has a sense of movement. So couplets seem ordinary, but they are not easy to get. Five or six sentences describe its various forms on the premise of ready expression. Praise peony flower red, but don't say it is red, but compare peony, which is famous for its red color; Similarly, it is not straightforward to praise the white flowers and petals of peony, but to compare the inferiority of Bai Ping. In this way, the peony is redder than the peony, whiter than the peony, and the flowers are big and heavy, and the image of Yan Guan Fangqun comes alive. This contrast writing method can avoid the disadvantages of vague description and help readers have intuitive feelings in imagination and contrast. "Red Masonry" is quite exquisite, and the red dense form of peony flowers is condensed in two words, which is extremely impressive and eye-catching. The "heavy platform" here refers to the flowers with double petals, and the peony with double petals is the most expensive. The above two couplets and four sentences are important parts of the whole poem. The author uses them alternately, that is, sketch, contrast and contrast, which flexibly reproduces the colorful peony and its lovely national charm, which is very attractive to readers.

Just as people are intoxicated by the author's touching description of peony flowers and eager to see their faces, the whole poem ends with a deliberate sentence: "Be diligent in looking at flowers, don't learn to swim bees every day." People are like bees, day after day. From the side, we can write the great charm of peony, just like Bai Juyi's description, "The imperial capital is dying in spring, it's noisy, it's Shang Huashi, and it's time to buy flowers." "Don't swim like bees", playing hard to get, just like the peony garden has a "no entry" ban, which is even more irritating. In this way, the whole poem is both interesting and implicit, which makes people poetic and fragrant. Wang Zan, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, commented on Fang Gan's poems and said, "If you can't say it, your meaning has gone alone." This poem "Peony" has the characteristics of implicit meaning and endless meaning.
