This sentence comes from Li Shangyin's Notes to a Friend in the North on a Rainy Night. This poem was written by Li Shangyin when he was in Bashu. Judging from the content and emotion of poetry, people who are close to the author are remembered. The first two sentences of this poem, with questions and answers and descriptions of the immediate environment, illustrate the lonely feelings and deep nostalgia for his wife. The last two sentences imagine the joy of meeting again in the future and compare with the loneliness tonight. The language is shallow and affectionate, implicit and meaningful, well known and memorable.
2. Hold your hand and grow old with your son.
Translation:
Hold your hand and grow old with your son.

When describing the eternity and beauty of love, people often say to the other half, "hold your hand and grow old with your son." Its meaning seems to be similar to "grow old together", which represents their good wishes for love. The interpretation of the first sentence of this sentence should be read as "life and death are broad, and children are born." This is the oath of a soldier and his comrades-in-arms: "Hold your hand and grow old with your son." What should be described is pure friendship, but it has been misunderstood by later generations for more than 2000 years, which is really disappointing.
When there is poverty in the corner of the world, there is only endless acacia.
Translation:
No matter how far the horizon is, there will be an end. It's just that lovesickness has no end and will never stop.

This sentence comes from Yan Shu's "Spring on the Jade Tower". These two words mean that endless feelings will last forever. As Li Houzhu said, "The world is as big as the heart", everything will have an end, and only the true feelings of that world will never end. Therefore, this endless lovesickness is worth singing forever. Sad sorrow and quiet lovesickness are the themes sung by Yan Shu. It is not only full of the poet's parting thoughts, but also shows a profound philosophy of life more tactfully.
