What are the four causes of death? -Sodagi Kemp
According to the Buddhist scriptures, the Solemn Merit Sutra of Elysium says, "Ananda, if all beings return to the Buddha", this is the first reason to go to Elysium; Accumulate many infinite good roots, which is the second cause; [Bodhicitta] This is the third cause; Make a wish and return to the pure land of the past. This is the fourth reason.
If a yogi often meditates in front of the figure of Amitabha, accumulates vast resources, always concentrates on the Buddhist temple, wants to go there, and then makes a wish to come back. If this person dies, Amitabha will appear in front of him as an incarnation and live. The figure, family, image, etc of this avatar. It's exactly the same as Amitabha, who usually meditates.
How should I train before I die? Once death appears, our first thought must be to keep up with our teacher, Amitabha. For example, if you suddenly encounter a car accident, you will definitely die. At this time, you should immediately observe that Amitabha is no different from the guru, and pray for Amitabha or the guru wholeheartedly. If you have such an idea, then your god knowledge can be integrated into guru Amitabha and die in bliss. This is very very important!
All of us will experience death, just like waiting in line, one by one will leave this world sooner or later. When leaving, some people have very good methods and can really go to Elysium in the end, but some people have no choice but to wander around with their careers, just like students who graduated from school. Some officials, some illegal, all kinds of situations will appear.
Therefore, when we are alive, we should be fully prepared for death, not only knowing these teachings of the Pure Land Law ourselves, but also trying our best to teach others. ?
All good and evil buddhas can see the reality clearly. What is the reality? This is the truth about going to Elysium. Amitabha's desire is so great that as long as we have confidence, we will definitely go to Elysium. All the Buddhas can see these situations clearly, and all the Buddhas in the Infinite Buddhist Temple are chanting the name of Amitabha.
Sakyamuni Buddha repeatedly praised the merits of Elysium in Buddhist scriptures. As post-scholars, we have a very good karma not only with Sakyamuni Buddha, but also with Amitabha Buddha. Therefore, while praying for Sakyamuni Buddha, we should always have confidence in the pure land of Amitabha Buddha. With self-confidence, we will naturally have the pleasure of death. With this joy, we will always pray and meditate in the Buddhist temple and return all the good roots we have created to the dying paradise. ?
On the one hand, the formation of Elysium is due to Amitabha's wish, on the other hand, it is also due to Amitabha's incredible wisdom and divine power. As we all know, after acquiring a bodhisattva, you have the power to transcend the world; Pure Land Bodhisattvas (eight to ten places) are diligent; When I arrived in Buddhism, I had incredible power. The brake soil formed by this incredible wisdom is unimaginable to ordinary people.
When speaking, I think we should also pay attention to one thing. No matter whether you study Tantric or Xianzong, don't say anything that is particularly excessive and hurtful, such as "How did Tantric win, your Pure Land Sect is not good at all" or "Pure Land Sect is the best, but other sects are not good", which makes people feel that his Buddhist literacy is definitely poor.
What is good and what is not can not be decided in one sentence. This is what all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas taught us, as well as the previous monks and great virtues.
If we hope to live in heaven with a pure heart, although we are ordinary people now, the power of this hope will surely mature. Especially in "Manjusri's Fundamental Continuation", it is said that if there are commandments in one's own continuation, if one wishes with a pure heart, he will certainly realize his wishes, and his wishes will be realized.
Therefore, no matter family members or monks, there must be at least one commandment of conversion, or the commandment of laymen, monks, bodhisattvas and secret riders. Make a wish on this basis, and it will certainly come true.
In this life, we can meet Amitabha's pure land practice, and we can hear that Amitabha's name is fate, which is the result of robbing and accumulating wealth for many generations. Without karma, the name is simply unheard of.
Although we are in the last era of the Five Revolts, previous eminent monks and great virtues, such as Sakyamuni Buddha, Longmeng Bodhisattva, Buddha, Master Lotus Peanut and Master Zong Kaba, have passed away one after another, and later great achievers have not yet been born. On the surface, they don't seem to have any good news, but from another perspective, we are destined to hear the name of Amitabha now, and their merits are incredible.
Don't think that Amitabha's name can be heard casually. Many old ladies of the Han nationality often recite "Amitabha, Amitabha", and many people usually recite it. This may be nothing. This idea is actually that the values of Buddha's name have not been clearly recognized. You know, it is not easy to really hear such a Buddha's name, and it really needs a very unique fate!
Don't think that "I am studying the secret method, and the pure land method is very simple, so it is impossible to get rid of Buddhism". Those who say these things are showing their stupidity! Tantric students have no reason to despise Pure Land Buddhism. Many eminent monks and virtues in Tibetan Buddhism, including King Ruyibao, Master Zong Kaba, Maipeng Rinpoche, etc. What's your attitude towards the pure land? Chakme Rinpoche and Ruyibao, the French king, both died in Elysium, so we have to make a vow to live in Elysium.
Especially as a disciple of the French king Ruyibao, we have a very unique fate for Pure Land Sect. What Bodhi King Kong said to the French king more than 200 years ago should be clear to anyone who has seen the biography of the French king. The guru made it very clear in his notes that the French king was born when and where and all his family members. Personally, I have also studied the logical reasoning of the Ming Dynasty. Usually, people will say what light they saw and where it appeared. To tell the truth, I don't believe it, and I often have some doubts. However, the more I look at the letter written by the former monk Dade to the French king, the more confident I am, especially at the end of the letter, there is a saying: whatever sentient beings are attached to him, they can go to heaven. Some of you have heard the teachings of the French king directly before, and some of you may have heard the teachings of the French king indirectly. In this case, it should not be too difficult to go to Elysium.
Because everyone dies in different ways, some people die after suffering for a long time in the hospital, and some people die suddenly. When I am sitting in the car, I often think, if I suddenly roll over, can I read Amitabha as my first thought? Although I understand intellectually that if I die, I can choose, and there is no better choice. It is useless to covet anything in the world. But at that time, people's fear may be particularly strong, and I am most worried about whether I can have this idea.
There are quite a few people who recite Buddhism in Han Buddhism now, which is really admirable. However, the mage should pay attention to one thing when promoting the pure land method. What is this? It is the four causes of past lives clearly recorded in the Pure Land Sutra. These four truths must be clearly explained to Buddhist practitioners, so that they can study Buddhism diligently on the basis of understanding these truths. If so, they will certainly survive!
Everyone should have a confidence in the paradise in the past. People in the world must have confidence in this product and know its value before buying it. Similarly, if we have no interest and confidence in the merits of Elysium, we will not read or visualize it in practical actions, and this will not lead to our death. Even if you can accomplish a number at ordinary times and recite the Buddha's name tens of thousands of times every day, if you have no confidence, your merits will not be particularly great!
