I really like the rhetorical technique of "Liejin", such as Ma Zhiyuan's "The Pure Sky? Thoughts on Autumn" and Bai Pu's "The Pure Sky" spring, summer, autumn and winter poems. I chose to play "Green Mountains and Green Waters" , white grass, red leaves and yellow flowers.” Of course there are also:
Wen Tingyun's "The sound of chickens in Maodian and the moon in the moonlight, and the frost in Banqiao" by Wen Tingyun.
Lu You's "The building boat is crossing Guazhou in the snow at night, and the iron horse is passing through the pass in the strong autumn wind".
He Zhu's "Yichuan tobacco, the city is filled with wind and rain, and plums are yellow and rainy".
Liu Yong's "Willow Bank, Dawn Wind and Waning Moon".
Gu Kuang's "The sound of people crossing the spring in Banqiao, the cockcrow on the eaves at noon".
Huang Tingjian's "Peach plums and spring breeze, a glass of wine, a night of rain in the rivers and lakes, ten years of light".
Li Bai's "The West Wind Remains Shining, the Han Family Mausoleum".
Yan Shu's "The moon melts in the pear blossom courtyard, and the breeze blows in the catkin pond."
Lin Daiyu's "water with water chestnuts and geese, mulberry elms and swallows in the beams".
The beauty of "brocades" in ancient poetry
Most people who like Chinese culture will be impressed by the beauty of artistic conception, rhyme and thought in ancient Chinese poetry. These beautiful images created by ancient Chinese poetry stem from the clever use of rhetorical techniques, and "Liejin" is one of the rhetorical techniques.
The so-called "Liejin" refers to the use of nouns or noun phrases, which are selected, combined and cleverly arranged to form a vivid and perceptible image, with a strong sense of picture. Among the many masterpieces, the most widely circulated and most influential are Ma Zhiyuan's "Tian Jing Sha·Autumn Thoughts" and Wen Tingyun's "Morning Journey to Shangshan".
For example, "Tianjingsha · Autumn Thoughts": "Withered vines and old trees are full of crows, and people live on small bridges and flowing water. The west wind blows in the ancient road and the horses are thin, the sun sets in the west, and the heartbroken people are at the end of the world." There are twenty-eight characters in the whole song. The first three sentences and eighteen characters use the word "Lie Jin" to introduce nine images: "withered vines", "old trees", "faint crows", "small bridges", "flowing water", "people's houses", "ancient roads" "West Wind" and "Skinny Horse" give readers a natural, real and desolate picture of the sunset in the autumn suburbs.
